AbstractOn the basis of atmospheric carbonate leaching, a new pressurized process is proposed to treat chromium containing residue. Effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, and CO2 pressure on the yield of magnesium have been studied. Preparation methods of magnesium oxide and magnetic ferrite were investigated.
