Effect of La2O3 Content and the Heat Treatment on the Upconversion Luminescence of Niobate Glass

摘要Bulk upconversion luminescence glass was fabricated by the aerodynamic levitation method. The effect of La2O3 content and the temperature of heat treatment on the upconversion luminescence of Niobate glass was also investigated. The results show that the network structure is-changed by the addition of La2O3. The sample obtains the best thermal stability and upconversion luminescence with 10 mol% La2O3. The upconversion luminescence intensity does not increase or decrease with the increase of the heat treatment temperature. The sample heated at lower temperature or crystallized obviously obtains stronger upconversion luminescence.
