Abstract | Nanoparticles that can efficiently control the differentiation of neural stem cells (NSCs) into neurons are developed for Alzheimer's disease (AD) therapy. The treatment with these nanoparticles results in an attenuation of neuronal loss and rescues memory deficiencies in mice. The system can also be used to monitor the transplantation site, as well as the migration of NSCs in real time. Therefore, the system is proposed to open up new avenues for AD treatment. |
