空心球表面定向生长二氧化钛的制备及其光催化性能研究

Abstract

二氧化钛具有良好的光催化性能和化学稳定性,空心球具有中空,质轻等特点。将二者有机结合,有望制备出能在水面上漂浮的光催化剂,不仅提高光催化活性,充分利用太阳光,而且便于分离再利用,预计可在大面积水体表面有机污染物治理方面有很好的应用前景。本论文以钛酸四丁酯为前躯体,通过表面溶胶—凝胶处理在空心球表面包覆一层二氧化钛薄膜,然后进行水热反应,成功制备出包覆有纳米二氧化钛纳米棒的复合空心球,并研究该复合空心球的光催化性能。具体研究内容如下:1)采用表面溶胶—凝胶法将空心微球用Ti(OBu)4甲苯溶液预处理10次,然后在550oC下煅烧2h,煅烧后过滤,只取漂浮完好的空心微球,进一步在盐酸(37%)/水体积比为1:1,Ti(OBu)4加入量为6mL,温度为150oC条件下水热反应4h,得到表面均匀、致密且包覆表面呈放射状锐钛矿型二氧化钛纳米棒的空心微球,该空心微球可以漂浮在水面上。当把该空心球应用于光催化降解有机物亚甲基蓝时,0.005g该复合空心微球在紫外光照2h可以将亚甲基蓝(10mg/L)全部降解。2)将空心微球固定到载玻片上,再用Ti(OBu)4甲苯溶液进行表面处理10min,然后在550oC煅烧2h,煅烧后过滤,只取漂浮完好的空心微球,进一步在盐酸(37%)/水体积比为1:1,Ti(OBu)4加入量为6mL,温度为150℃条件下水热反应2h,得到表面均匀、致密且包覆表面呈放射状锐钛矿型二氧化钛纳米棒的空心微球,该空心微球可以漂浮在水面上。当把该空心球应用于光催化降解有机物亚甲基蓝时,0.005g该复合空心微球在紫外光照75min即可以将亚甲基蓝(10mg/L)全部降解。3)将空心微球放入二氧化钛溶胶液中搅拌30min,然后在90oC下烘干1h,得到包覆锐钛矿的空心球,该空心微球可以漂浮在水面上。0.005g该复合空心微球在紫外光照10min可以将亚甲基蓝(10mg/L)全部降解。

Other Abstract

Titania nanomaterials possess good photocatalytic properties and chemical stability, and silica hollow microspheres are excellent carriers due to low density and good thermal stability, etc. By the combination of their both advantages, we may obtain photocatalyst floating on the surface of water, thus not only improve the photocatalysis activity, but also facilitate separation and recycling. There may be good foreground on the aspect of large area of water surface treatment of organic pollutants.In this paper, tetrabutyl titanate was used as the precursor. By simply treating the hollow microsphere surface using the surface sol-gel process followed by the hydrothermal reaction under appropriate conditions, we successfully coated silica hollow microspheres with close-packed anatase titanium dioxide nanorods perpendicular to the surface of hollow microsphere. The main content of this paper is shown as follows:1) Through sol-gel method, hollow microsphere was treated by Ti (OBu)4 toluene for 10 times, then calcined at 550 oC for 2 h, after filter, only taking floating intact of hollow microspheres, further under following conditions: hydrochloride (37%) aqueous solution (volume ratio 1:1), Ti (OBu)4 (6 mL) and 150 oC hydrothermal treatment 4 h, and obtain surface uniform, and dense-coated anatase-type perpendicular to the radial growth on the surface of titanium dioxide nanorods hollow microspheres, the hollow microspheres can be floating on the water, and methylene blue (10mg/L) can be all degrade with 0.005 g composite hollow microspheres under UV light irradiating for 2 h.2) Hollow microsphere was fixed on the glass slide, again with Ti (OBu)4 toluene solution surface processing for 10 min, then calcined at 550 oC 2 h, after filter, only taking floating intact of hollow microspheres, further under following conditions: hydrochloride (37%) aqueous solution (volume ratio 1:1), Ti (OBu)4 (6 mL) and 150 oC hydrothermal treatment 2 h, and obtain surface uniform, and dense-coated anatase-type perpendicular to the radial growth on the surface of titanium dioxide nanorods hollow microspheres, the hollow microspheres can be floating on the water, and methylene blue (10mg/L) can be all degrade with 0.005 g composite hollow microspheres under UV light irradiating for 75 min.3) Hollow microspheres were added into titanium oxide sol liquid and mixed for 30 min, and then dried in 90 oC for 1 h, and got hollow spheres with surface coated anatase, the hollow microspheres can be floating on the water, and methylene blue (10mg/L) can be all degrade with 0.005 g composite hollow microspheres under UV light irradiating for 10 min.
