AbstractWe fabricated a photodetector using hollow multi-shell structured (HoMSs) SnO2 as an active material, which exhibits enhanced ultraviolet responsivity and detectivity compared to SnO2 nanoparticles. This is because the internal cavity within the HoMSs helps to trap light and enhance light absorption. With an increase in the number of shells, the photodetector performance is improved.
