AbstractSiC x , Al 1? x ) 2 multilayer coatings were prepared on carbon x , Al 1? x ) 2 layer and an inner SiC layer with a small amount of Mo 4.8 Si 3 C 0.6 . The oxidation behavior of the coated C ?1 at 1 800 K in a wind tunnel. No destruction of the coated C 2 and Al 2 O 3 on the coated layers during oxidation.
