Abstract | The enzymatic resolution of racemic methyl 3-phenylgycidate was investigated. It was found that the hydrolysis rate of (2S, 3R)-enantiomer was faster than that of (2R. 3S)-enantiomer by a new lipase. At optimal condition 96% of (2R. 3S)-methyl phenylglycidate with ee of 100% was recovered from the racemic mixture.; The enzymatic resolution of racemic methyl 3-phenylgycidate was investigated.
